4PG Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Awards.

Since returning to school, 4PG have been working really hard on their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Awards. The class have been practicing their walking, completing 1 mile (each practice) whilst walking around our school's bike track in preparation for our expedition walk in June. They have also participated in PT Sessions with Mr Greenwood of CGPT, completing a 45-minute session which is working towards their physical section of the award. With Mr O'Brien the group have practiced their map reading skills (expedition section), finding markers placed around the school premises before practicing building tarps, in-case they are needed for shelter during our expedition walk. For their volunteering section the class helped clear the schools pond area, ready for the spring and all the life it brings.
