This half-term, Key Stage 1 have been learning all about the properties of materials and, this week, we have been exploring wet and waterproof materials. We explored different sensory trays filled with ice. We engaged in water play using objects made from waterproof materials like metal and plastic and, in order to use all of our senses, we added different smells and textures of fruit to the ice to ensure maximum engagement in the task.
