On Friday 22nd May, Maple Tree class enjoyed a fantastic trip alongside Pine Tree class, starting with a visit to Briercliffe Methodist Church as part of our Summer 1 RE topic on Christianity. The children explored the church and took part in re-enacting Christian rituals, including communion and learning about christenings, helping to bring their learning to life. Afterwards, we visited Towneley Park, where the children enjoyed a picnic and had fun playing together, linking to our topic on land. It was a wonderful day full of learning, exploration, and enjoyment for everyone.
