On Wednesday we took a mixed KS3/4 boy and girls’ team to Poolfoot Farm in Fleetwood for the next round of fixtures in the U16’s Lancashire School Games Ability Counts Football League. The day started with a magnificent singalong on the bus to Watermelon Sugar by Harry Styles which got the teams spirits up. We played 7 fixtures across the day, in past tournaments the U16’s team has really struggled and has never won a game, today they not only won a game but they won 6-0. They gave a fantastic showing and pushed all teams close. The team scored some fantastic goals and showed some great teamwork throughout. Well done everyone.
