On Thursday 2nd March, primary children celebrated World Book Day! Teachers visited each primary class and the children read, listened to and engaged with activities related to books about colour. The books included The Rainbow Fish, The Day the Crayons Quit, The Colour Monster, The Colour Monster goes to School, Elmer and The Smeds and The Smoods.  We all enjoyed lots of fun activities including crafts, making alien biscuits and cleaning elephants! The pupils were invited to come into school wearing a costume of their favourite book character or a colour, the primary department looked very colourful and bright! At the end of the day, we had an assembly to celebrate our work. What a fantastic World Book Day!
