A Viking came to visit!

This half term, Key Stage 2 have focused on the topic of 'Vikings'. To enhance our learning and provide a hands-on experience for our learners, we invited Steve from 'Humph Histories' to come to our school to help us to learn more about the interesting lives of Vikings. We really enjoyed recreating Viking battles, trying on Viking style clothing and listening to all of the interesting facts that Steve told us. Steve even gave us our own shields to take back to our classrooms to design in our own patterns! We had a wonderful Viking-filled day!
