As part of the key stage 2 topic about 'The Battle of Britain', Maple tree class visited The Manchester Airport Runway Visitor Park. This supported the children's learning about planes as they have been learning about types of planes used in WW2 such as Spitfires! All of the learners really enjoyed watching the planes take off and land and also explored the inside of a cockpit and the amazing sites of Concord!

All of the Maple tree children were a credit to Tor View and really enjoyed sharing their new knowledge with their friends when they returned to school!
