KS4 had their second round of fixtures in the U16’s Lancashire School Games Ability Counts Football League this week at Play Football in Preston and it was their best ever visit. They played 7 games winning 4, drawing 1 and losing 2. Having not won more than one game in a round of fixtures before to win 4 games was absolutely fantastic and the players deserve so much credit. They started the day by winning 8-0 and then 2-0, unfortunately the next game was an extremely tight 2-1 defeat with their goalkeeper winning man of the match. Following this they won 6-0 but then slipped to 3-1 defeat against top of the league but again they were very unlucky to lose. After lunch they had 2 games left where they won brilliantly 8-0 and the final game of the day was a 3-3 draw but they can count themselves extremely unlucky not to win. Before these fixtures they had 4 points in the league and now they have 17 and are in 3rd place.
