Yesterday morning, P3 walked up to Clod Lane Park to practice road safety skills and take part in sensory regulation activities. With support from staff, we remembered to look for a zebra crossing to cross the road in a safe place and to look and listen for cars before crossing. At the park we focussed on activities and equipment that can help us regulate our sensory requirements. We used the swings and seesaws to experience linear movement and satisfy our vestibular system. To target our proprioceptive system, we climbed up different parts of the climbing frame and hung from parts of the climbing frame with our hands for as long as we could!
