On Thursday 15th and Friday 16th June, year 3 and 4 pupils attended their experience days. On Thursday, the group went to Smithills Farm and had a fantastic day! We took part in a tractor ride that took us up to the top of the hill to feed the donkeys, then we visited pet corner and held animals including rabbits. We had the opportunity to stroke llamas, baby lambs and an owl! We also went on a walk around the farm and fed different animals then watched a milking demonstration and watched how the milk was produced. We returned to school to enjoy our evening meal then played and watched a film until parents came to collect.

On Friday, we visited Boomerang Sensory Centre. A lot of fun was had in the soft play area, particularly the ball pool and children also accessed the sensory room. We then had lunch and spent the afternoon at Victoria Park on the play equipment.

The children were a credit to parents, carers and staff at school, they behaved excellently, listened well and were a pleasure to spend time with!
