What a fabulous enterprise week so far for 3/4O! The class have had the opportunity to go to the Valley College shop and gain work experience. In preparation the class selected items and prepared price tags for them thinking carefully about what coins they may use. Upon arrival, we made sure the shop was clean and tidy – ready for business! We took turns working on the till and buying various items. Each member of the class gave service with a smile thinking very carefully about the skills needed to work in a shop. Before we knew it, it was time to leave. The class worked as a team to make sure the shop was tidy practicing our functional skills leaving it ready for the next set of customers.

Today we have been thinking about our skill passports and what skills we have. The class have looked at different jobs and selected items we would need for these roles. Working in a bakery was a massive hit and dreaming about all the delicious cakes we would bake! Each member of the class has identified different skills they have such as being helpful, good listening and signing skills. Well done 3/4O, you have worked so hard!
