4M went to the 'plywood shop' to buy some materials to make a Plywood Toolbox. They exchanged 'money' for components of the toolbox and got a free rectangle of sandpaper as a bonus! We discussed the toolbox, materials needed and the cost of all the components. Pupils took turns to exchange the correct amount of 'money' for plywood. There was a lot of discussions and eagerness to come to the shop!
4M sanded their wood using correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and made their toolboxes using wood glue, nails, a vice to secure and stencils to decorate the sides.
They had an excellent session!
