In P.E this half term P6 have been looking at athletics and studying the various events that take place. The pupils have been able to learn skills throughout the different events to improve their results. By applying the knowledge, they have been able to develop a broader range of skills. The pupils have learnt how to use them in different ways and been able to link them to make actions and sequences of movement.  The events have enabled the pupils to enjoy communicating, collaborating, and competing with their peers. They have been able to develop an understanding of how to improve in different physical activities and sports. The pupils learnt how to evaluate and recognise their own success.

The events the pupils participated in included curling, hammer throwing (ball of socks in some tights) relays, shotput, and javelin. The pupils have thoroughly enjoyed athletics within their P.E lessons this half-term.
