In Apple class this half term our topic has been ‘Growing Plants’.
In English we have been reading the story of ‘Jaspers Beanstalk’ and taking part in lots of practical activities that support the story of a cat who tries to grow a beanstalk.
In our Gross Motor Key Skills lessons, we have been developing our cycling skills, using a variety of equipment including bikes with and without stabilisers, trikes and pedal exercisers.
During our PSD lessons we have been developing our sharing skills and learning to take turns with our peers. This has been achieved through role play, focused adult directed activities and small group games.
On Thursday 8th May, we joined in with whole school VE day celebrations. In class we made place mats to use for our afternoon tea style lunch; we also made flags, watched educational videos and listened to war time songs.
