Last Tuesday in Cherry Class, we had a fantastic time learning all about Pancake Day! During our RE lesson, we discovered why people celebrate Pancake Day, also known as Shrove Tuesday. We talked about how it is a special day before Lent, when people traditionally used up ingredients like eggs, milk, and flour to make delicious pancakes.

After our lesson, we got to enjoy a real treat—we tried some yummy pancakes! Everyone had lots of fun tasting them, and we even talked about our favourite toppings. Some of us liked sugar and lemon, while others preferred chocolate or syrup!
