In Oak class last week, we have been working on our Science topic, light. We have been conducting experiments to demonstrate that we need light to see, and that the absence of light creates dark. We have enjoyed using the dark den to explore items that create light and learning how to switch them on and off to create darkness and light. We used the lamp to make shadows, explored cubes that light up when placed in water and even had a movement break using the large foam glowsticks, which was lots of fun! We then took our learning into the MSE room where we were able to access the light up resources such as light tubes, plasma balls and touch screen LED panel.

We are looking forward to continuing our learning about light throughout this half term!
