This half term in Maths, Pine Class have been focusing on Money. The pupils have been learning about coins and notes and using these to buy items in the class role play 'shop'. Pupils have been able to match and sort coins by quantity, size and colour, with some pupils recognising different coin values.
Last week, Pine Class visited the Garage Cafe and put these skills to a practical situation, they used coins to buy toast or biscuits and juice. The pupils then enjoyed sitting with their friends and enjoying their snacks. Well done Pine class!
