Tor View School Election

Tor View School held a week-long campaign for representatives for Head Students and Prefects. Each candidate went through an application process and described how they would represent the learners of the school and uphold our school ethos and values. We were inundated with applications for these positions with some very creative and inspiring campaign speeches.

After a week of campaigning, Friday 14th October was voting day whereby the whole school was given an opportunity to vote. We would like to give a special mention to Miss Smith and all the 4W learners for organising and setting up the main hall to resemble Polling Stations so everyone could vote. It had an excellent turn out with over 250 votes taken!!

Now, the votes have been counted and we are extremely delighted to announce the results of our Head Students and Prefects.
Congratulations to our new Head Students- William & Eirywn! Your campaigns were incredible and your speeches were very inspiring. We look forward to seeing your contribution to our school community.

Furthermore, we are also incredibly proud to announce our new school Prefects who will be working closely with the Heads Student in ensuring that all learners voices are heard.
Congratulations to Chloe, Jessica, Luke & Tara. Your dedication and self-belief shone through. We believe you will all an excellent contribution to our school community.

Finally, congratulations to our fabulous new School Council Ambassador- Thomas. Who will lead all school council session and be the bridge between teachers and the learners. We are so proud of you.
Our wonderful team will now be fully involved in decision making to further develop and improve Tor View School!
We were tremendously proud of all our learners who took part in our elections, they are all a credit to our community.
