P3 have been learning about place value and addition in Maths this half term. As a class, we have been singing some familiar number songs and counting along by matching symbols each time we add 1. We have practiced our fine motor skills by matching numbered pegs to numerals up to 5 and 10. We have also been searching for objects in sensory materials, such as water and sand, and counting them by matching them to the correct numerals.
