I am delighted to introduce myself as Executive Headteacher of Tor View School (4-19 years) and Valley College (18-25 years), both providing aspirational education for learners with Special Educational Needs.

Tor View School and Valley College are independent of each other; however, they are closely located on our School and Ewood sites, in Rossendale, East Lancashire.

The independent websites provide you with a flavour of the exciting opportunities and experiences that are provided within the friendly, highly aspirant, inclusive and successful provisions.

Our vision statements…

Tor View and Valley are part of a collaborative Multi-Academy Trust; The Sea View Trust, and alongside my welcome, I would encourage you to read the same from our Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Angela Holdsworth.

Our staff provide first-class educational experiences that inspire, excite, engage, promote independence and ensure learners fulfil their potential.

We encourage our inspirational learners to strive to succeed and with their tenacity and the staff’s skilful support, we all achieve together.

Our ultimate aim, is to prepare our learners for their future and we work collaboratively with families and other professionals to plan this pathway, never forgetting that the learner is at the centre.

We strive to develop positive relationships with all members of our community, so that a climate of mutual respect is maintained.

Both provisions have a wealth of resources to support the educational journey, ensuring we prepare learners for the next generation of learning.

A very warm welcome awaits you at Tor View and Valley College and I look forward to meeting and working with you and your family in the future.

If you have any further queries or questions please do not hesitate to contact a member of our teams who will be very glad to help.

Louise Parrish, Executive Headteacher of Tor View School and Valley College.
