345EP have been looking at Optical Art this term. We have been exploring how different shapes create patterns to make other shapes and pictures. Students have chosen which colours they want to use and the item they want to use to create patterns. We have used UV paint and then explored how this changes under the UV light in the MSE room. In addition we explored how paint can mix together to make unique patterns and effects by manipulating UV paint between plastic sheets.
