Lancashire's Young Citizen Award

Recently one of our primary pupils was nominated for the High Sheriff of Lancashire's Young Citizen award. James was nominated after his incredible efforts raising £3,000 for Rossendale Radio by walking over 2 miles from his home in Waterfoot all the way to Rawtenstall. A close family friend represented James at the awards ceremony as he won a Highly Commended award and finished in the top 10 nominees for the Young Citizen award. We are tremendously proud of James for his achievement and the contribution he has made to the wider community! Well done, James!
