Roald Dahl Day!
What a marvelous day we had yesterday celebrating Roald Dahl Day throughout school! Our learners have celebrated the works of Roald Dahl across the curriculum. We have been creating potions in Maths and in our Drama lessons we have been studying Charlie and the Chocolate factory character work. In Art and Design lessons our pupils have been planning and designing ‘Wanted Witch Warning’ posters and in English we have been reading a smelly sensory story about the Twits.
The secondary department ended the day with an amazing pupil led assembly by 4OR who shared facts about Roald Dahl, celebrated this year's theme BRAVERY and how we can achieve this in school. Well done to all our learners and staff who have worked so hard today!
