The View Trust is a Learning Trust

Learning

  • We value all children and support them to achieve their full potential;
  • We encourage all academies to engage in robust self-evaluation fostering an aspiration for innovation and school improvement;
  • We recognise staff are our most important resource and recruiting, developing, rewarding and retaining excellent staff is a priority for the Trust;
  • We are active in continuing the professional development of teachers, from initial teacher trainee to Leadership, and all education-related professionals in a multitude of roles across academies, within and beyond the Trust;
  • We are committed to growing our own teachers and providing career pathways which enable succession planning for academies within the Trust;
  • We will work with academies to develop exciting and inspiring curricula based on established good practice, research and innovative pedagogy;
  • Through Tor View Specialist Learning Community the Trust is designated as a Teaching School and National Support School;
  • We value partnership and multiagency working and seek to support all academies in engaging meaningfully with other agencies including Health, Social Care and the Private, Voluntary and Independent sector;
  • As Trust we will lobby agencies on behalf of academies, parents and children to secure appropriate services and ensure that provision meets locality need.
