Salvation Army Visit

Pupils thought of lots of questions to ask. In Key Stage 3 RE, our topic is all about how we can help someone in need. In particular, we have been learning about The Salvation Army. Last week Captain Maisie Veacock came into our lesson to give us some more information. Pupils from 3T and 3A had prepared questions, thinking about what they would like to know, which she answered very well for us. It was a very interesting visit and all the pupils and staff gained a lot of information from it. Along with answering questions, Captain Maisie Veacock also gave us some problem solving scenarios and gave us some more insight into The Salvation Army’s history. We would like to say a big thank you to Maisie for coming in and speaking to us as we really enjoyed her visit!

Pupils were given problems and scenarios to solve.

Thomas thought of another question for Captain Maisie Veacock.
