Class P3 Visit the Singing Ringing Tree

This half term P3 have been learning all about weather and the changing seasons. This week we have been focusing on wind. We went on a class trip to the Singing Ringing Tree in Burnley. The pupils had great fun exploring the environment and listening to the whistling sounds made as the wind blows through the tree. We took a packed lunch with us and visited Townley Park where we had a picnic. After lunch we went on a long nature walk. The pupils collected conkers and acorns and we used them to create a class display. We talked about the effect the changing seasons has on our environment and had lots of fun playing in the leaves. We all had a fantastic time and are looking forward to our next class trip.
