Key Stage 2 to the Sealife centre in Blackpool

Hello there! At the end of the Spring (1) half-term, the pupils from Key Stage 2 enjoyed a great educational visit to the Sealife centre in Blackpool. Our topic for the half-term had been “Our world” and we had all looked at different aspects of our world, including hot and cold countries, green areas of our world and busy places around our world including cities.

Who is under the sea?The pupils really enjoyed seeing the “underwater” aspect of our world. We took three minibuses to get there and had lots of fun looking at and exploring some of the amazing creatures who live in the sea!

Gliding by!Everyone who wanted to had the opportunity to stroke a starfish and we all loved watching the beautiful Stingrays float past the huge glass windows! Favourites were probably the Nemo fish and the Blue Tang fish (also known as ”Dory!”)

How many fish can I count?

Tickle the starfish!

Please be gentle with me!

The sharks are watching you!

It looks wet in there!

The fish are smiling at me!

What a funny face!

This is better than CBeebies any day!

I'm trying to tickle your tummy!

The tunnel is a great place to see the fish ... but no Boris, the shark!
