We pride ourselves at being a healthy school and have won local and national awards. Our school meals are prepared fresh on site every day. We source the majority of our produce locally and believe in providing the best for our pupils. We cater for a wide range of diets; please look at our menu to see the types of meals we are providing. We will always try to cater for every pupil’s needs and we ask parents / carers to contact us if your child requires a special diet.

We have all been working together in school to grow our own fruit, vegetables and herbs in the polytunnel which students from the Horticulture Group have been looking after. These will then be served to pupils and students at dinner time. We are trying to transform our food culture to make sure we are all eating healthily and drinking plenty of water and have received the Bronze Award from the Food for Life Partnership.
