After School Club runs each night of the week during term time from 3.15 – 5.00 pm. All participants are provided with a drink and a light snack prior to beginning the activities. Parents and carers can collect their child from 5.00 pm once the activities have finished.
Transport is available for some pupils who qualify for Pupil Premium. For more information on whether your child qualifies please contact Tor View School.
Costs and Registration
The costs of individual activities are detailed below and are payable in half termly instalments. Reduced rates are available on all activities for children who qualify for Pupil Premium. For more information on whether your child qualifies please contact Tor View School.
To register your child for a place please download and complete the application form and return it to Vicky Sweetmore, Play Development, Extended Services and Community Manager, at Tor View School. Please read the After School Club policy to which we adhere throughout all After School Club activities.
Option 1: Fun & Games – these sessions give participants the opportunity to try different games both indoor and out. Whether it is an individual or team activity there will be something for everybody (£8) (Reduced rate available)
Option 2: Football – these sessions are run by qualified football coaches from Burnley FC and focus on technical skills and team work (£1.50)
Option 1: Cooking – each term will provide the opportunity to create a variety of sweet and savoury products, including how to use equipment and perform specific cooking techniques (£8) (Reduced rate available)
Option 1: Art, Craft & Recycling – a creative night focussing on creating and making a variety of different items using recycled and craft materials. (£8) (Reduced rate available)
Option 2: Dance – Sessions run by experienced dancers, teaching different styles and routines to a range of popular music. (£4) (Reduced rate available)
Option 1:Messy Play – Sessions designed for pupils to experience and interact with a range of different materials and resources, encouraging touch, taste and smell. (£8) (Reduced rate available)
Option 2: Ski Club Beginners and Intermediate – these sessions are run by a qualified ski instructor at Rossendale Ski Centre (£8) (Reduced rate available)
Option 1: Cycling – a chance to improve everyone’s cycling skills with bikes, trikes, go-karts and specialised bikes available (£8) (Reduced rate available)
